An old grocery shop turned into a restaurant that has become a hotspot for the local nightlife. “Il Postaccio Barco Marsicano” is in via Corradini in Avezzano, just a few steps away from the city center. 

The restaurant looks like a deli but, once inside, you will be welcomed by a spacious hall where you will feel just like at home.

Small and intimate, the restaurant is the perfect place for a quick aperitif or a dinner with friends. Everyone knows the famous sandwiches that try to evoke Abruzzo’s tradition, as well as the dishes prepared with fresh and local products. 

If you order a “Senza paura” entrée (“Without Fear”), you will be served a big charcuterie with plenty of cold cuts, cheeses, and vegetables. We also recommend trying the potatoes, served with a variety of condiments. And, of course, don’t forget the wine.
