The Senso Doppio Association presented the map of trails and places of interest in Luco dei Marsi. It is a touristic map where you can find all the main trails and places of interest of the local mountains, and it can easily be downloaded from www.sensodoppio.it. The authors referred to official maps of the territory, coming up with a brand-new map useful for every tourist.

The members of the Senso Doppio Association personally took care of observe the various trails, and leveraged the data and the GPS tracks detected by the Agesci Group in Luco dei Marsi in conjunction with the Google Street View’s Trekker Loan Program. Many of the boards placed at the beginning of the trails are empty or poorly maintained.

The aim is to promote the hiker’s interest and cater to the demand of the specific and detailed info needed to plan hikes. The local network of trails is a precious heritage, kept alive by the hard work of the many volunteers that periodically clean and maintain these roads. To rightfully honor this hard work, we need to advertise the new map and make it accessible to everyone.
